Ranking My Top 10 Ice Planet Barbarians Books!

Did I begin reading IPB as a joke? Yes.

Am I now 22 books in and onto the spin-off series? Yes.

Am I now obsessed with sci-fi alien romance books because of this series? Yes.

With that being said, here are my top 10 favorite books from Ice Planet Barbarian series by Ruby Dixon (ages 18+).

* Mild spoilers *

10. Barbarian's Prize

Tiffany x Salukh

This installment was so funny I almost felt bad for Tiffany. I found it hilarious how all the single guys were fighting over her and no one gave a crap about Josie. Salukh and Tiffany's relationship was extremely sweet.

9. Barbarian's Redemption

Ellie x Bek

I was itching to read this book. Finally Bek gets his redemption arc. I'll be honest I didn't like him a whole lot at first because of Claire's story and the fact he bought human slaves... but poor guy didn't know what that meant. I liked how Ellie softened Bek and made him realize the implications of his actions.

8. Barbarian's Tease

Brooke x Taushen

Okay wow I liked this book so much more than I expected. We didn't really know a whole lot about Taushen other than he was an older teenager for much of the earlier series and he didn't disappoint. I liked that Barbarian's Tease was different than the other books because Brooke only wanted Taushen for a one night stand but the sah'khui don't understand the concept of a one night stand. Therefore, instant tension.

7. Barbarian's Touch

Lila x Rokan

This installment was adorable. I loved Rokan's determination to understand Lila seeming as she's deaf. Their relationship was so wholesome and I enjoyed every aspect especially the fruit cave.

6. Barbarian's Bride

Nora x Dagesh

I was so happy to finally read Nora and Dagesh's book! And holy spice. It was so cute that Dagesh was uncomfortable with Nora's wants but still tried to please her. And the wedding... stop Dagesh is so sweet.

5. Barbarian's Mate

Josie x Haeden

I LIVED for this book. The ultimate enemies-to-lovers of the series. Josie and Haeden's story is rocky in the beginning but their eventual connection proves just how much they belong together. I enjoyed their bantering and Josie's denial of her feelings.

4. Ice Planet Barbarians

Georgie x Vektal

The first book in the series is easily one of the best. This book sets up the entire series and Georgie was such a strong, resilient MC. Although Georgie and Vektal aren't one of my favorite couples, the storyline of this book was great.

3. Barbarian Alien

Liz x Raahosh

I LOVE THESE TWO. Liz is my favorite female MC of the series. I was genuinely laughing at some of the things she said in this book. I died at the things she was saying to Raahosh when she didn't think he understood English. Raahosh is just a giant misunderstood teddy bear. Yeah he might've stolen Liz but he is seriously so adorable when he's possessive. I was smiling the entire time when Liz was fighting for her man when Vektal exiled Raahosh. It seemed that the second Raahosh was taken away from her, Liz's feelings for him finally came to light and Raahosh was so happy she was fighting for him. Ugh, love this couple.

2. Barbarian's Taming

Maddie x Hassen

Maddie and Hassen surprised me so much. I loved their dynamic and how Maddie was fighting her feelings for him because he had kidnapped Lila. Hassen's humor made me laugh out loud and oh my god, all their scenes together just melted my heart.

1. Barbarian's Lady

Kate x Harrec

The #1 spot goes to Kate and Harrec! Harrec is undoubtedly my favorite male MC of the series. He also had me laughing at some of his flirting tactics with Kate. Granted Kate didn't appreciate it in the beginning, she eventually did. When Harrec was plotting to trick Kate into sneaking away with him and challenging her to do it... I'm a ball of mush. This couple is *chef's kiss*.
